Faery Pleased Lavender Rose Bread

What happens when you put a kitchen witch and a fae witch in the same room? Why, they make some truly magickal fare of course!

Fae magick and kitchen magick truly complement each other in the most marvelous ways. Aside from their complete compatibility, fae magick and kitchen magick offer a way to connect with your intuition and unlock your magick from within. Let's not forget that the results of our spellwork can be quite delicious!

We decided to get together and throw down some magick in the kitchen by baking loaves of our very own Faery Pleased Lavender Rose Bread, and WOW -- it packed a serious punch for both our taste buds AND our vibrations! No joke, within days of making our loaves and offering some to the Fae, both of us received bountiful blessings that we weren’t expecting at all! This is how we know this recipe is 100% Fae approved, which is why we want to share it with you.

Even if you’re new to your path, or you don’t work with the Fae, this bread recipe is loaded with high vibration energy which can raise your own frequencies once consumed. And what do high vibrations do? Attract more blessings, that’s what! As long as you infuse this bread with your positive intent and powerful innate magick, opportunities to grow and prosper will show themselves.

Faery Pleased Lavender Rose Bread

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup milk

  • 1 1/2 tsp. Dried lavender

  • 2 tsp. Dried roses

  • 6 Tbsp. butter, softened

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 Tablespoons of vanilla infused honey

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted

  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 1/3 cup sifted powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon water

How To Make:

  • Set the mood. Burn incense of jasmine or vanilla to invite friendly Fae into the kitchen while you’re preparing the dish. You can also light a small white candle or tealight if you don't have incense on hand (or don't want to use it!). We placed our candle near the dish of mixed flowers to infuse them with the Spring Faeries' energy.

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan. If it’s sunny and warm where you are, you can soften the butter needed for later in the recipe by placing it outside in the sun for about 20 minutes. This will invite strong fire energy into your recipe.

  • Combine the milk, lavender, and roses in a small saucepan over medium heat. Heat to a simmer, then remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

  • If you placed your butter outside for some sunny rays, go ahead and grab those sticks now. In a medium bowl, cream together your butter and sugar until smooth.

  • Beat in the eggs until the mixture is light and fluffy, then add in the vanilla-infused honey. If you have a specific intent you'd like the loaf to embody, feel free to draw sigils onto your eggshells before cracking them.

  • Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt then stir into the creamed mixture alternately with the milk mixture until just blended. Make sure to reserve a small amount of the milk to offer to your Fae once you have everything prepared!

  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes.

  • To prepare glaze, whisk together powdered sugar and water. Spread it over the hot bread and sprinkle lavender and rose on top. Do this quick before the glaze hardens

  • Allow to cool for 20-30 minutes. Offer the first slice to your Fae spirits as an act of gratitude for their past, present, and future blessings. They will definitely appreciate the side of lavender-rose milk if you managed to save some!
